About Momentum Muse
"You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it."
— Maya Angelou

What is Momentum Muse?
Momentum Muse is a weekly ADHD friendly invitation to check in with yourself and try flexible and compassionate strategies to approach your days with intention and kindness.
Do you feel overwhelmed by too many tips and tricks to manage your ADHD? Do you feel frustrated that you just can’t seem to stick to a routine and implement strategies? Do you feel scattered, all over the place, with no real intentions for how you spend your time?
Momentum Muse meets you where you are today and guides you to explore where you want to go and how to get there. You can expect a consistent structure with changing questions and ideas for novelty - perfect for the A(u)DHD brain!
Disclaimer: things won’t magically be perfect (there’s no such thing!) — you have to put in the work and I’m here to support you.
To be clear, the goal isn’t increased productivity, but for you to feel more connected to yourself, to treat yourself with more kindness, and to learn what works for you through experimentation and reflection.

What’s Included?
Every Sunday night / Monday morning (depending on your time zone), you’ll get an email in your inbox (or the Substack app) with reflection prompts in three categories: Waypoint, Explorations, and Quests.
Waypoint. A gentle check in: where am I now? What’s working and what isn’t? What’s happening around me?
Explorations. Where do I want to go and how do I get there? We build momentum by identifying priorities (what), intentions (how), and first next steps. Each week you’ll receive a tool tip and/or an exploration question for lightweight reflection and trying out something new.
Quests. A place for deeper introspection. Each week, you’ll receive journaling prompts so you can muse about deeper topics, such as values, your strengths, your motivators, energy levels, beliefs, etc.

What makes Momentum Muse different from your average weekly planning newsletter?
You can go deep or stay on the surface, depending on your time and spoons available. You’ll get value by just taking 5 minutes to look around at your waypoint.
You can skip a week (or more) and you can always come back the following week. No extra points for consistency. Each time you open Momentum Muse and reflect on where you are is a win.
I’m not telling you what to do; you decide what works for you. One of the goals is for you to figure out what does and doesn’t work for you, so you can adapt this to your needs. I invite you to be curious and experiment.
You won’t get bored with the same questions. While the framework stays (roughly) the same, every week is a bit different to keep things shiny and new ✨
What inspired Momentum Muse?
Hi, I’m Hanna, big tech burnout recovered human turned life coach, later in life diagnosed ADHD, self-identified autistic, parent, and (apparently) writer, based in the Pacific Northwest.
As a high masking (then unidentified) neurodivergent person, I used to hold on so tightly to all of my complex systems to manage my day to day.
As part of my burnout recovery and stepping into my expanded identity as an ADHDer, and later AuDHDer, I stripped all of the hacks and tips and tricks from my life so I could start fresh, with a more compassionate, neurodivergent affirming approach.
One way I do this is by checking in with myself weekly1 regularly to set intentions, to reflect on what is and isn’t working for me, and to feel grounded and connected to myself.
With Momentum Muse, I’m inviting you to join me — subscribe now!
no bonus points for consistency here. What matters is coming back to it when it feels helpful.
